The Alabama Association of Conservation Districts (AACD) is divided into six administrative areas. The Alabama Conservation Districts Employee's Association (ACDEA) adheres to the same geographical areas. Each Area elects one ACDEA member to represent the employees of that area on the state Board of Directors. Each Area Rep is elected for a two year term and may serve a maximum of two terms. Areas 1, 3, and 5 elect their representatives on odd numbered years and Areas 2, 4, and 6 elect their representatives on even numbered years.
