 We say Goodbye to Vickie Goggans as she steps down from active office and now becomes Immediate Past President. Vickie has served as President for the past two years. Under her leadership and guidance the ACDEA has grown. Brenda Wigginton, also a Past President, presents Vickie with a mouse pad imprinted with an image of her grandchildren and a travel bag.
 Linda Norris was elected as our new Secretary. Linda is very organized and will do a great job of keeping records of our activities. |
 Our new ACDEA President, Henrietta Taylor, officially took office on April 29, 2009. Hen has served as Vice-President for the past two years and has trained well to be a very capable leader in the future.
 Carol Threatt was elected to serve the Association as Treasurer. This is the only office that does not have a term limit due to the security issues and costs involved with changing financial institutions. Carol is only the second person to hold this office since the Association was formed. |
 Bridget Cain, our Chaplain, now adds the duties of Vice-President as she is sworn in on April 29 also. Bridget is a wonderful, caring, christian and serves the Association well as our Chaplain. She is a valuable asset to the Association. Her past activities as Area Representative and participation with state and SECDEA events has prepared her for this office.
 We may come for all corners of the state, but we know how to have fun when we're together.
